To promote the first edition of SportAccord World Mind Games which will take place from 8-16 December 2011 in Beijing SportAccord World Mind Games Online Tournament has been organized for each of the mind sports participating in the SportAccord World Mind Games; Bridge, Chess, Draughts, Go and Xiangqi. The Tournaments used the biggest existing online platforms.
The SportAccord World Mind Games online Bridge tournament has ended.
The winner is Ms Jane Wiltshire from South Africa.
In the junior category (invited by the WBF), the winner is Mr Mike Propas from Canada.
And a special prize has been awarded by the WBF to the Chinese winner Ms Tang Ling from China.
250.000 unique Bridge players took part in this event.
The Winner of the SportAccord Online Chess Tournament is Vladislav Artemyev from Russia.
The winner of the SportAccord Online Xiangqi Tournament is Mr Tang Zhimin from China.
